Shaping my ideas

I am kind of new to all this, but then not that much... :) I did Reiki and I have the second degree of Ki training. I did some incredibly successful "regression" experiments (or past lives or controlled dreams, whatever they are) on some friends. I think I had some OBE when I was a kid. And I am curious...

I came across Lynne and other very interesting books (like "The Biology of Beliefs" by Bruce Lipton) because I am a Computer Science professor and I am starting to work in Bioinformatics... so I started to read about Biology and instead of venturing into the "traditional" biology, a number of incredibly interesting books started to come to me (literally, I did not choose most of them, they just came to me from different sources).

I guess everyone have different reasons and motivations to believe in something. I needed some scientific proof, that Lynn books are starting to give me. I understand that the key in many of our hidden powers is in a true and deep belief.

I am building it and this is why I am here.

My youngest is 12, and the two of us together are working to enhance and learn more about the gifts we both have -- she is "ahead" of me in many ways and I think she is teaching me as much as I am teaching her. As for religion and "The Field" ... they have always been hand in hand for me, as my Mom taught me long ago that every aspect of my personality, life, etc. was a gift from God. I didn't know until I was a teen that "gifts" such as precognitive dreams or the like were frowned upon by Christianity, and by that time it was too late, I was already corrupted and simply thanked God for the "powers" He had given me. That, to me, is the greatest gift my Mom ever gave me beyond that of her unconditional love and my life itself. :)
