What was your "aha!" moment? Please share your story.

Let's face it, life is confusing! Questions such as—
  • Who am I?
  • What am I supposed to be doing with my life?
  • Is there such a thing as enlightenment?
  • If there is, how do I get there?
  • How will I know if I've chosen the right path?
    • Is the "Universe" really speaking to me or am I imagining it?
  • can add to the confusion.

Aha! Life Maps© is a place where you are encouraged to share your own personal life map. What were the Aha! moments that changed your life path? Were they a big Aha! moment or merely the day-to-day variety? I have a feeling we share many similar stories.

    • Were you meditating when it happened?
    • Did it start with a traumatic event such as an accident, near-death experience, health issue, the death of someone you loved, or was it a joyous occasion such as the birth of a child, a marriage, or a spiritual experience?
    • Were you alone or with someone?
    • Were you out in nature or sitting at a corporate conference table, or where?
    • Did it include any visions or guidance from other realms?
    • Did you take immediate action or let it percolate for a while?
    • How has it changed your life?
    • Are you happier now, or more confused than ever?
Maybe you have more to add. Share as much or as little as you wish—it's up to you. The purpose of sharing your "aha!" moment is to show others a snapshot of how someone got from A to B. It might help them recognize and connect with their own Life Map to higher consciousness. Often, people are either reluctant to trust their intuition or guidance system or afraid to take action. Hopefully this forum will serve as a jumping off point to new self discoveries for those who wish to find the key to their higher consciousness and transformation. Thank you for sharing your stories! Love, light and laughter, Gloria

The AHA moment is difficult. I've had so many.
I think one of the most impactful was in 1988 when the furniture store I worked for burned down. As I watched the fire - I Knew without a doubt that the Universe had somehow stepped in to help me leave something that was no longer serving me and go on to do the next thing. Within 6 months I was designing custom clothing for full-size women.
Just one of a succession of Aha moments, that changed the course of my career once again. Maybe it's not a career exactly but just a part of my life.

hello you all,
my aha moment took some time it was not a snapshot it took weeks to get there.
during a couple of years i went through a lot of shit....i lost my health on cancer i lost my money and my company, my father died and last but not least the woman i was supposed to get married with send my a dear John letter.
and that point my live was hopeless and i did not want to live any more.
with help from good friends i got back on earth to a point that i could say to myself, AHA.
there is a different way to look at life there is allways a positive side to all thingsthat happen to you. it was a lot off work, working on thoughts working on emotions and working on my physical body.
but in spite of what dctors believed, i am still here and very much alive and kicking.........
my keyword if things go wrong in your life is : CHANGE and start with yourself.

Namaste,

Chris.

My "Aha" moment came around the time of my mum's terminal cancer when I began to appreciate how important it is to be fulfilled and happy in life. I changed my career path in law to one in psychology with a desire to promote self-awareness and well-being. The words of wisdom my mum spoke in the last days of her life were, 'just be happy'. A poignant message from a woman who had let go of all she had had cherished to gain (and give) so much more...

Bonjour à toi Gloria
Bonjour à vous tous people o' the group
I would like to join in the Life Map if possible I am PirOshan from New Caledonia (South pacific) off the Australian coast, a french island
I first was "aha"as you say, the first time I arrived in India : Calcutta the city was then named ( 1984) I was on my way back to France, my trip took me 9 months from Darwin (Australia)to Nice (south France) Second day in Calcutta here I am 5pm on the main square next to the railway station with hundreds of thousands of PS (public servants) running across the square to catch a train back home ! I wasn't easy cause I don't like when there's too many people around me ! Anyway I was next to this old man behind his cart selling books and magazines ... I did ask him for some reading mater about indian gurus ; he pointed at a small paperback book asked me 15 ruppees and handed me the book. I turn myself to observe the thousands of PS running like mad across the place (for a minute even less) and then decide to move out. Looked back at the old man place and "aha" !!!!!!!!!! no cart, no old man, nothing next to me. I thought that people in India where fast moving gens !!!!!!
Looking at the cover page of my paperbook on Saï Baba I realised that the old man on the cover and the old man I had just seen selling me the book were identical tweens ...
Life is wanderfull isn't ?
later I got to know more people of power like Baba Ram Das, Baba Muktananda etc
And now I'm into FSS shamanism so Gloria when i see your photo, I know there is a bear next to you fanny hey ! I am sure you know life is magic

A bientot peut être Gloria
