just as earth field holds all information in waves of energy, human emf/aura holds mind & memory ... body does processing, mind does analysis, field stores information ...

How do we meet?

It seems to me such discussions (about 'coma,' for example) are always silently underwritten by the perspective a manifest being, such as one of us, takes. Indeed, any 'perspective,' 'model', 'set of assumptions,' etc represents the current illusion manifest beings can strive to become aware of and awake from. And in that statement I'm sure at least stating a point of view! :-).

For example, for a long time the dominant model in the 'West' used in thinking and talking about such phenomena (as coma) has been (i) that body and mind are different and separate; and that (ii) mind is in body and stems from the operation of the brain. Some models from the 'East' say differently, that rather than mind being in the body, or stemming from it, body, and more generally, physical reality, is in and stems from mind.

Recently (1970s) psychoneuroimmunology (PNI) announced a breakthrough movement in recognizing, in the 'West' that mind and body were connected, in that the brain and immune system not only conversed but appeared physically and functionally intertwined, and that, staggeringly, the immune system seemed, overall, as complex as the brain. Recently we've read of new announcements about the stomach harboring a neuron cluster with more neurons than in the brain. Biology, at least, is revealed as being increasingly vocal about, at the very least, pathways "between" mind and body.

PNI made a case for 'mind talking with matter', and even, maybe, part of the how of 'mind over matter' (placebo and nocebos?). Lately, some in the 'West' have moved their perspective to 'mind in matter'. From the 'East' the story has remained stubbornly constant, if not more and more familiar: Everything manifest and all phenomena is so from a - choose your term - Universal or Infinite (actually, unnameable) source. Simply viewed in armchair terms, we're finite manifestations within an Infinite mind - you and I, and everything we know are complex expressions of that mind, as vibrant beings manifested within a vibrant being we call 'universe'.

I'm not arguing for or against any of, or any other 'view' or perspective in this comment, but wanted to say that any discussion about coma, for example, and 'what's going on' turns intimately on how who ever is talking about it 'views' the universe, and the unbroken wholeness, deeper still, that many believe the universe itself is an expression of.

If your view is mind and matter are somehow separate and hence 'mind over matter' or 'matter over mind' is a viable view, then one will have one perspective in discussion; if that 'mind is within matter', another; if 'matter within mind' another view; if that 'matter and all phenomena (bodies included) are manifestations within an Infinite mind', still another. And so on.

Some of these views are antithetical to each other. No view of Matter (Body, phenomena) and Mind as separate, or as mind stemming from brain operation, is ultimately reconciliable with a view that regards all phenomena as manifestations of mind -whether 'mind' individuated and regarded as mortal by most views, or 'Mind' indivisible and regarded as a property or function of an Infinite spirit.

Of course, it would help. not so much to agree about perspectives and terms (words) when discussing, but at least to surface in discussion what model / view / perspective / set of assumptions etc. a person is actually using in the discussion.

Many differences in such discussions, therefore, arise in how to view and understand 'coma', or what might be happening in related phenomena, have everything to do with these kinds of perspective/assumption differences (there are others).

And it seems to me, even in reading some of the many contributors to 'Living The Field,' that there's a broad variety of often conflicting models running like silent submarines across many discussions. If, for a given discussion, folks are able to share what kid of "anatomy" for the 'crittur' they're talking about they're using, or decide, first, to talk about 'anatomy,' 'view.' 'perspective,' etc., at least passionate discussions about the 'nature of the elephant's tail' (coma) won't be passionate because the other party is deeply involved in the nature of the elephant's trunk!?!

For the record(!), in this discussion, my (still submarined and short version :-) ) view is, presently (I keep shedding the illusion!), that you and I, and everything we know are expressions of the Infinite that come and go. And that whether mountain or man, star or bird, universe or tree, we're all Source sung songs singing. That a Source sung song is the Infinite's spiritual essence ensouled. That a song of the Infinite spirit can be expressed in the form of a soul. And that in this view a Source sung song's singing is its manifestation - in body, heart, mind, and soul - in this place. We are, in this view, literally, songs that sing, which is our being, and with our singing, sing stories, which are our deeds.

I presently use 'song' in my current understandings because it seems a natural model in being naturally vibrational, relational, expressed, not immortal, etc. No doubt this too will pass as this model succumbs to wakefulness. Just thinking.

There is only One, Perfect, Universal Mind, of Whom we, all humans and everything in Creation are infinite, eternal, immortal expressions.

As to the question therefore "where is Mind" - Mind is Everywhere and Everything, and any perception to the contrary is an illusion of the physical senses and the Ego.

White light and white noise both encompass all frequencies seem to represent the Field. Resonating with specific wave lengths, seems to allow coherent communications with other resonators. What do you think?
