Hello! The friends you make in many circumstances who hail form different countries, and the wonderful memories you've made, the combination of both challenging and fantastic times you've had all make the life of expatriates a very rewarding and enjoyable experience.

Agnes, how true this is! I am glad you have posted this, and hopefully others will joing in. Having a Global base of friends increases our ability to expand our understanding of life outside our own little 'bubbles' of cultural experience, and makes us a bit more flexible, malleable and capable of re-forming our own life paradigms. I know, for one, that I can certainly accept others as friends no matter where they are, and I hope we will be friends as well.
